City for the Birds

An environment designed for an ongoing concept art-based project. So far many locations I've drawn I've had in mind to be modern and civilized, yet inhabited by animals. Others so far have been me trying to explore ways I could bring out that element, and I feel like I managed to get that across best with this little birdhouse city.

On the side, I also took some inspiration from Venice, and I'd like to also incorporate that better to give more elegance to an avian setting. Particularly based on the importance of Peacocks in Catholic culture.
